Phillip Metz


Phil Metz serves as the strategic lead and driving force behind the integrated marketing and sales process at MSI. His illustrious career provides MSI partners with a unique competitive advantage in the highly competitive fields of tourism and real estate. Phil's extensive and diverse career as a strategic marketing and sales advisor in the real estate sector includes successfully launching and sell-out projects in Colorado, Idaho, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. He has forged partnerships with both national and regional developers, bringing their projects to market. He has partnered with national and regional developers to bring projects to market, including Newland Communities, Southern Land Company, Vail Resorts Development Company, Breckenridge Grand Vacations, and worked with world-renowned brands, including The Ritz-Carlton, Pendry, Rock Resorts, Marriott, and Hyatt. During his decade-long tenure at Vail Resorts, Phil played a pivotal role in the marketing and business growth of Vail Resorts' Rocky Mountain resort portfolio, encompassing Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Park City, Keystone, and Crested Butte. He managed an annual marketing budget exceeding $20 million and led a marketing team of over 50 employees. His leadership consistently resulted in record visitation revenue each year. Phil also had oversight of operations and membership sales for Vail Resorts' private Clubs division, which boasted an annual P&L of $20 million, seasonal staffing of 250 employees, and a portfolio of seven private alpine clubs and two private golf clubs. In addition to his professional achievements, Phil remains actively engaged in his community, serving on various boards. Current and previous boards include the Breckenridge Tourism Board, Vail Local Marketing District Advisory Council, Vail Economic Advisory Council, Beaver Creek Economic Advisory Council, and the Beaver Creek Resort Company Board. Phil is a graduate of Colorado State University and holds a real estate broker license in Colorado. He is also an esteemed member of the Beaver Creek Resort Company Board of Directors.
