Phillip Metz


Phil Metz is the strategic lead and driving force behind the MSI integrated marketing and sales process. His storied career provides MSI partners a unique competitive advantage in the highly competitive landscape of tourism and real estate. As a Vail Resorts senior leader for over a decade, Phil led the marketing and business growth for Vail Resorts' Rocky Mountain resort portfolio, which includes Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Park City, Keystone, and Crested Butte with an annual marketing budget of $20+ Million and a marketing staff of 50+ employees. During this time, he also lead the company’s national hospitality/hotel portfolio and brand parentships achieving record visitation revenue each year during his leadership tenure. He also oversaw operations and membership sales for Vail Resorts' private Clubs division, which included a P&L of $20 million annually, seasonal staffing of 250 employees, and a portfolio of seven private alpines clubs and two private golf clubs. He also played an influential role on many community boards, including the Breckenridge Tourism Board, Vail Local Marketing District Advisory Council, Vail Economic Advisory Council, Beaver Creek Economic Advisory Council, and Beaver Creek Resort Company Board. Phil’s robust and eclectic career as a strategic marketing and sales real estate advisor includes launching and sell-out projects in Colorado, Idaho, Colorado, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. He has partnered with national and regional developers to bring projects to market, including Newland Communities, Southern Land Company, Vail Resorts Development Company, Breckenridge Grand Vacations, and working with world-renowned brands The Ritz-Carlton, Pendry, Rock Resorts, Marriott, and Hyatt. A graduate of Colorado State University, Phil is a licensed real estate broker in Colorado and an active member of Beaver Creek Resort Company Board of Directors.
